Prayer Teams
Serving others through prayer. We believe that we are dependent on Jesus Christ and need to rely on His grace and power working through us to accomplish His purposes and to be transformed.
Prayer Chain—holding up the weekly and emergency prayer requests before the Lord. sent via email Sunday Morning Prayer—meet with others to pray for those serving and attending that day Service Prayer Team—offering prayer immediately after the services.
Care Teams
If you feel lead to walk alongside someone suffering through a tough season of life by providing friendship, healing, hope, and any other assistance needed, we would love for you to partner with us in bringing light to the darkness.
Hospital Visitation. If you have a passion to minister to those who are shut in or in the hospital then this ministry is for you.
Peer Crisis Counsel. Meet with a care receiver going through crisis for encouragement and prayer. Assisting those going through the imminent or current loss of a loved one.
Meals. Help provide meals for those not in a Community Group who are hospitalized, have a death in the family, or some need to have meal assistance.
Auto/household “handy” needs. Come alongside seniors, singles and others who have needs around their home or with their car.
Financial Counseling. Advise families and individuals going through financial stress.
Marriage Mentors. Become trained mentor couple who will work with mentee couple for up to a year.
Special Event Teams
If you enjoy planning and serving in special church-wide events (i.e., Fall Festival, church-wide picnics, etc), this might be the team for you.
Church-wide special events committees. Anything from planning, programming, food, setup and cleanup
Newcomers Ministry. Providing a connection for families and individuals who have recently been attending Morgan Hill Bible Church to become connected.
Women’s Ministry Teams
If helping women to create a connecting, growing and serving environment is of inter to you, this might the team for you.
Special events committee/planning. This may include retreats, special events, community outreach planning
Small group leader. To facilitate discussion with women around a selected topic or study
Childcare. To provided child care for Bible studies, mentoring moms groups, or special events.
Hospitality and food service for weekly gatherings and special events
Audio/Visual technician for weekly gatherings and special events for women
