Tapestry
woven for God’s glory

God created a world that was designed to reflect His glory. Our lives are tapestries created by Him and He is working on the fabric of our lives so we can bring glory to Him. That is our sole purpose here on earth. But instead of following His agenda, we followed our own. Because of our choice, He leveraged our sin for His glory by sending His Son to die for our sins. Every time we call Him Father, it is a reminder of His immeasurable greatness and our immeasurable gain. Everything that happens to us in life, whether good or bad, is for His glory. Join us in this series as we are reminded that one day every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of the Father.

Four-part series:

Part 1:     "The Glory of God"     February 21, 2010
Every one of us is a tapestry, and God is working with the fabric of our lives so we can bring glory to Him. That is our sole purpose here on earth. Our minds cannot fathom His glory or judgment, because He knows who He is, He is central of His thinking, and He does everything for His glory.
Romans 11:33-36

Part 2:     "The Cross for Glory"     February 28, 2010
God created a world that was designed to reflect His glory. But instead of following His agenda, we followed our own instead. Because of our choice, He leveraged our sin for His glory by sending His Son to die for our sins. At the cross, every question about God’s right to glory was made silent. Until His return, we, who tried to hijack His glory, will be able to come and address Him as Father. Every time we call Him Father, it is a reminder of His immeasurable greatness and our immeasurable gain.
Philippians 2:5-11

Part 3:     "Our Life’s Thread: His Glory"     March 7, 2010
We are small, but take glory in the fact that we know God, and are known by Him. We have a glorious God and a glorious future, and we’re pretty comfortable with that. But God is looking for people who will use that lens to view all of life, and surrender, not out of duty, but delight. This helps us realize that our little lives are a part of His glorious tapestry.
Exodus 3:7-15; Isaiah 63:12-14; Psalm 106:7-12; Philippians 3:17-21

Part 4:     "Giving Glory"     March 14, 2010
We will never understand the fact that God is for His glory. Everything that happens to us in life, whether good or bad, is for His glory. He redeemed a traitor race through the death of His son, which was for His glory. Because of that, one day every knee will bow, and tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of the Father.

Romans 11:36-12:1; John 11:4-6
