Danielle Causin, Office Administrator
Born in Irving, TX, Danielle moved to Morgan Hill in 1982 where her parents began attending the newly formed Morgan Hill Bible Church. Danielle has been connected with MHBC ever since, making her the staff member with the longest time at the church by far. Danielle has a degree from the University of Phoenix in Database Administration and has worked for many years in customer service. She loves putting that background to work in the Morgan Hill community and serving the body of Christ here. Besides being mom to Crysta, Callista, Caden and Carrigan, Danielle is passionate about those who are hurting, divorced or single parents.
Norm Heredia, Landscape & Building Maintenance Supervisor
Born in Gilroy, Norm has lived in the South Valley all of his life. After over 20 years working as a woodworker and cabinetmaker, Norm joined the MHBC staff in 2012 and has enjoyed using his skills for the Kingdom of God. Norm's fluency in Spanish often comes in handy with guests on the church campus and in the office. His joy is infectious everywhere he goes. Norm is married to Charleen, and together they have three children: Anthony, Nicholas and Emily.
Barbara Rea, Adult Ministry Coordinator
Barbara joined the MHBC staff as Bookkeeping Clerk in June of 2012, but has since then become an invaluable administrative assistant. A Bay Area native, she graduated from San Jose Christian College with a B.S. in Bible & Theology/Christian Education. Barb is married to husband, Steve, and is mom to Jordan, Parker and Allison. Barb enjoys reading, long walks on the beach, spending time with friends and is a fan of laughter in general! Barb's passion for excellence, organization and administration uniquely suit her for her ministry at MHBC. She enjoys seeing staff and congregation come together in the spirit of I Peter 4:10, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
Wendy Stroh, Accounting Manager
Wendy was hired as our Accounting Manager in February 2014 but has been assisting MHBC with their books in some capacity since 2008. She holds a B.S. Degree in Psychology and a Certificate in Advanced Accounting, both from Santa Clara University. She is grateful for the opportunity to use her education and work experience to live out 1 Corinthians 10:31, "Whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God." Wendy grew up in San Jose but has lived in Gilroy since 1993. She has two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Michelle, whom she adores.
Michelle Nielsen, Kids & Student Ministry assistant
A Southern California native, Michelle is loving life here in Morgan Hill where she has lived for the past thirteen years with her husband Raleigh and their kids Natalie, Matthew, and Zachary. She spent some time teaching middle school in Southern California after earning her B.A. in Sociology and History from the University of California at Santa Barbara. After moving to Morgan Hill, Michelle became an active part of the preschool program at Morgan Hill Bible Church in 2007 when she began teaching the four- and five-year-olds. Michelle is passionate about teaching God's Word to children and helping facilitate a welcoming environment for families who come to our church. She is excited to see how God will use the MHBC Foundry program to help connect these youngest members of our church into a vital relationship with Christ.
Dustin Rauser, Facilities Technician
Dustin has been attending Morgan Hill Bible Church since 1999. He and his four sisters would agree that MHBC has been like a second home. Dustin is currently going to William Jessup University where he is studying Psychology. He enjoys outdoor activities and anything involving exercise. For ten years, he competed in Tae Kwon Do and later competed in track and field at William Jessup University. Dustin's passion is people. He believes in community and loves spending time with his friends, meeting new people and helping in any way he can.
Karen Murphy, Guest Services Coordinator
Karen was born in Santa Barbara, CA. After WWII, her family settled in Sunland, CA, where she remained through the end of high school. Karen always had a heart for God, giving her life to Christ at the age of 12. By 29, Karen moved into the adventure of being a single parent to 3 children and is now a grandparent of 7 grandchildren. She has worked as a receptionist, administrative assistant, purchasing agent, division leader, program director, volunteer coordinator plus many volunteer opportunities in the church. When Karen decided to move to San Jose to live with one of her sisters, there was no question that she would attend the church her youngest sister loved and attended: MHBC. Serving Christ is a life passion for Karen. She loves encouraging people to grow in Christ, discovering and using their unique gifts.
Rachel Hinman, Social Media/Celebrations Manager
Rachel was raised in a Christian family in the countryside of Ohio. She encountered Jesus on a personal level when she was a teenager and committed her heart to Him. She attended college at Oral Roberts University, majoring in Communications and minoring in Church Ministries. She met her husband, Ricky, while attending college and they married in 2013. They served in youth ministry together in Tulsa, OK, for 3.5 years. They have two beautiful daughters and now reside in California; calling Morgan Hill Bible Church their home church. Rachel enjoys hiking, photography, fashion, learning to surf and spending time with family. Rachel believes that everyone has a significant story, and each story plays a part in the Kingdom of God. She has a passion for people as well as seeing the Bay Area culture tip toward the heart of Jesus.
