Building a Better Marriage

Marriage is a gift — but it isn’t effortless. This group is a space for young couples to grow, ask honest questions, and build a healthy, Christ-centered marriage together.

A six-session group built around Building a Better Marriage by Earl & Oneka McClellan, focused on God’s design for marriage — trust, honesty, service, love, and Scripture — in a supportive, real-life setting. This is not about perfection. It’s about formation.

Who This Group Is For

Young couples who want to:

  • Strengthen their marriage early

  • Learn biblical principles for lasting love

  • Grow alongside other couples in the same season of life

No perfect marriages required.

Meet the Hosts: Issa & Susan

Issa and Susan have been married for over 40 years and have spent decades walking alongside young couples, offering wisdom, encouragement, and practical guidance. They create a trusted, welcoming environment where couples can grow, ask questions, and build strong foundations for the future.

The Book of 1 Corinthians | Jennie Allen

Christianity calls us to sacrifice instead of living for oneself. We have to choose one or the other—we can't do both. The Christians in Corinth tried to live the Christian life in a worldly way. Paul wrote the letter of 1 Corinthians to a divided and self-centered people to remind them to follow Jesus and only Jesus.
In this 12-part series, author and speaker Jennie Allen walks into the messy lives of the Corinthians and takes us through Paul’s words to the conflicted church. We'll see how the truth of the gospel and the Spirit of God can empower us to choose to follow Jesus every day of our lives.

Group is open to join at anytime.

Suggested donation of $20.

Men’s monday night group

January - may | 7-9pm | MHBC Auditorium

The book of Jonah is an odd book, far more focused on the prophet than his prophecy. And this prophet was anything but a good role model. He actively avoided God's calling and, instead of showing mercy to his enemies, kept God's grace to himself. It is easy to say Jonah was a bad prophet, but he isn't that different from us.

Over the course of 8 verse-by-verse sessions, pastor and author Eric Mason will expand our vision to see Jonah's story as our own. Far more than a thrilling Sunday school adventure, Jonah's brief story underscores the depths of God's compassion, not only in redeeming the lost but those he has called to participate in his work.

So climb aboard and settle in as Eric reveals how God uses extraordinary circumstances to break our selfishness, convince us of his tender care, and unite our lives to his glory.

Group is open to join at anytime.
