Danielle Fonseca, Office Administrator
Born in Irving, TX, Danielle moved to Morgan Hill in 1982 where her parents began attending the newly formed Morgan Hill Bible Church. Danielle has been connected with MHBC ever since, making her the staff member with the longest time at the church by far. Danielle has a degree from the University of Phoenix in Database Administration and has worked for many years in customer service. She loves putting that background to work in the Morgan Hill community and serving the body of Christ here. Besides being a wife as well as a mom to Crysta, Callista, Caden and Carrigan, Danielle is passionate about those who are hurting, divorced or single parents.
Norm Heredia, Landscape & Building Maintenance Supervisor
Born in Gilroy, Norm has lived in the South Valley all of his life. After over 20 years working as a woodworker and cabinetmaker, Norm joined the MHBC staff in 2012 and has enjoyed using his skills for the Kingdom of God. Norm's fluency in Spanish often comes in handy with guests on the church campus and in the office. His joy is infectious everywhere he goes. Norm has three children: Anthony, Nicholas and Emily.
Barbara Rea, Discipleship Ministry Admin
A Bay Area native, Barbara graduated from San Jose Christian College (now William Jessup University) with a bachelor’s degree in Bible & Theology/Christian Education. Barb is married to husband, Steve, and is mom to five amazing young adults. She enjoys visiting the beach, reading, having quality conversations with friends and laughing as much as possible. Her passion for excellence, organization and administration uniquely suit her for her ministry at MHBC. She enjoys seeing people come together in the spirit of I Peter 4:10, "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace."
Rachel Hinman, Digital and Social Media producer
Rachel was raised in a Christian family in the countryside of Ohio. She encountered Jesus on a personal level when she was a teenager and committed her heart to Him. She attended college at Oral Roberts University, majoring in Communications and minoring in Church Ministries. She met her husband, Ricky, while attending college and they married in 2013. They served in youth ministry together in Tulsa, OK, for 3.5 years. They have two beautiful daughters and now reside in California; calling Morgan Hill Bible Church their home church. Rachel enjoys hiking, photography, reading and spending time with family. Rachel believes that everyone has a significant story, and each story plays a part in the Kingdom of God. She has a passion for people as well as seeing the Bay Area culture tip toward the heart of Jesus.
Ethan Guansing, Worship Producer
Ethan was born in Tokyo, Japan, but was raised in Morgan Hill, where he has been attending MHBC since Kindergarten. Not only did he first encounter Jesus here at a Kids Day Camp and commit his life to Him at a high school summer camp, but he also found his passion for serving in production ministry here: getting his start running tech for our youth and children’s programs. Ethan continued to grow both his faith and his skills, going on to serve on the production team at Hume Lake Christian Camps for over a year. He is currently studying Computer Science at De Anza College, and enjoys going to concerts, shooting archery, and learning different musical instruments.
Nichole Celano, student ministry admin / discipleship lead
Nichole is a bay area native, wife, and mom. She married her husband, Justin, in 2009 and they have 3 beautiful and outgoing kids. The family made the move to Morgan Hill from San Jose in 2014 and found Morgan Hill Bible Church shortly after. Other than the beautiful hills and back roads, Nichole’s favorite thing about Morgan Hill is the great sense of community. Nichole encountered Jesus in 2007 and has pursued him ever since. Although she has served in a few different capacities at MHBC, her heart belongs to Student Ministry. She has a passion for helping the students connect in a vital relationship with Jesus as well as coming alongside the students while they navigate the ups and downs of life. Nichole loves spending time with her family, watching movies, and walking the Morgan Hill trails with friends.
Emily Webb, Kids Ministry Coordinator
Emily was born and raised in San Jose and currently lives with her amazing husband Anthony in Gilroy. She earned her B.A. in English & Comparative Literature with high honors from San Jose State University. It was in 2014 that she reconnected with Christ and began serving in multiple ministries including women’s, children’s, junior high and high school. She believes that Christ has instilled her with a gentle and compassionate nature which helps build genuine connections to students. Emily loves spending quality time with her family, reading, and all animals.
Rachel Schafer, accounting manager
Rachel graduated from Westmont College with a BA in Economics and Business and a minor in Political Science. She later obtained her CPA license and worked in the field until her first child was born. She then dedicated her time to raising up the next generation of number crunchers. She met her husband at Westmont, and as a family they love to do all things outdoors. She is thankful for God's faithfulness to her throughout the years.
